Cliff Barnsby’s close
contact dressage saddle is a very comfortable saddle with its deep, extra foam
cushion seat, narrow twist and 6” extended stirrup bar for ideal seating. The
Luxus features a large thigh wedge, a large sculptured knee block, and machined
kneepad for optimum leg support. This saddle fits most horses well with its
2¾'' cut back, open head and broad, comfortable panels. The specially designed
tree promotes freedom of the shoulder, flexion, and lateral bend. To ensure
maximum comfort for the horse, the saddle has a quilted broad bearing surface
and humane “D” girthing arrangement with the point strap extending from below
the knee block. This close contact dressage saddle with continental styling
designed with input from elite German riders is the only dressage saddle to be
endorsed by the United States Dressage Federation (USDF). With an exceptionally
close contact panel the Luxus allows the rider maximum feel and contact with the

also participated in overnight camping trips. This horse has an awesome presence

grooming. Coggins, vaccination, blacksmith up to date. Good with the trailer
and calm during transportation. Good prospect for any English discipline but
shows great aptitude for jumper or eventing. Any reasonable offer will be
considered. Reason for selling: work full time during the day and master’s

RELIABLE 3rd LEVEL SCHOOLMASTER / FEI JUNIOR HORSE
Venus is a 14 year old, Oldenburg mare. She is a confirmed third level and FEI
Junior horse. She knows tempi changes up to two tempis, and is currently
schooling canter pirouettes. Venus is a safe and steady mare, with three clean
gaits. She does not spook and has been hacked frequently on roads. She has
shown FEI Junior at both National and CDI shows for the last few years, where
she has proven to be very reliable, level headed and easy to manage, with
excellent ground manners. She would be appropriate for an adult amateur or
a junior rider aspiring to or at FEI Junior. She trailers, clips, shoes
and hacks exceptionally well, no vices and has a lovely temperament. Stabled at Oxford Ridge Stables with Ruth Koch.
