Memberships in QSLB are available for a 1 year term running from
January 1 to December 31. The benefits of membership shall
terminate on December 31st of each year unless dues for the
following year have been paid.
Senior Memberships must be renewed by March 20th to retain
voting privileges. Publications may continue until March 31st of
the following year. Membership shall be continued on receipt of
dues.
In order to qualify for QSLB awards, both the rider and the
owner of the horse (if different) must be members of the QSLB on
the date qualifying competition scores are earned. Owners must
have at least a QSLB local membership.
Two types of memberships are available:
JUNIOR LOCAL: QSLB local membership
JUNIOR NATIONAL: QSLB local membership and CADORA Ontario and
CADORA National
SENIOR LOCAL: QSLB local membership
SENIOR NATIONAL: QSLB local membership and CADORA Ontario and
CADORA National
In order to receive an Omnibus (and other National supplies
including: rain cover, Lapel Pin, Baseball Cap) you MUST renew
at the NATIONAL (SENIOR or JUNIOR) level. Please see the
attached membership form for membership pricing.
Membership in QSLB, CADORA Ontario and CADORA National are not
required to compete at QSLB competitions. Cadora Ontario
memberships are NOT required to compete in Silver (Trillium)
shows or championships. However
membership is required to receive any year-end awards, prizes,
and other membership benefits offered by the QSLB, CADORA
Ontario and CADORA National.
Dressage Canada (DC) memberships are mandatory for participation in Gold
shows (not required for Silver, Bronze or Discovery level). Full members of Dressage Canada will receive a Test Booklet.
Dressage Canada can be joined through the O.E.F. or Equine
Canada or by going to
www.dressagecanada.org.
Privacy Policy: QSLB will not share your personal information with third
parties.
If we judge an issue or informational item in the interest of our
members, we will forward the information to you directly, but will not release
your personal information.
Membership run from January 1st to December 31st and renewals are due
by the 31st of January.

OTHER QSLB AWARDS
High Score: Junior and Senior. Based on the highest score
achieved in any single EC test at any 2008 QSLB Bronze, Silver or
Gold show, excluding Freestyles and Walk/Trot.
Freestyle Special: Donated by Susan & Greg Leggatt.
Based upon the accumulation of Freestyle scores PLUS the best single
technical test score at the same level. There must be a minimum of 3
different horse/rider combinations eligible for this award to be
presented.
Dressage Junior Rider Award: Donated by Linda Murphy.
Based upon the accumulation of scores in all classes for tests
ridden by a Junior Rider (under 18). A single rider may ride as many
different horses as she/he wishes and can compete in as many classes
as she/he is eligible.
